Simply Strings Grand Rapids has performed at many different elegant venues recently. Below you can find some of the most popular performance venues, along with a small commentary about each one.
City Flats Hotel: Grand Rapids - This stunning array of character is sure to please everyone at your event. Downtown GR location, but such a heavenly feel. Be sure to check this venue out as one of your choices.
New Vintage Place: Grand Rapids - This is a great venue, combining elegance along with factory style architecture. The brick building creates a unique feel that is sure to excite everyone around you!
Paddock Place: East Grand Rapids - This wonderful outdoor wedding location is great for a smaller wedding and reception site, and provides shade cover for guests and attendants. Great friendly staff and minutes from downtown.
Studio D2D: Grand Rapids - This event center has been created from an old factory building, and is just wonderful. Wedding and reception all indoors, all in one place, and well managed. It has always had kind staff and produces a memorable atmosphere.
Windmill Island, Holland MI - This is a beautiful setting, with elegant flowers, a nice open format, and a large tent for receptions and other events. Pictures are just beautiful at this location.
Amway Grand Hotel - The Amway Grand has space for every size wedding, and rooms as well for out of town guests. The Victorian/Modern warmth of this venue takes elegance to a new level. It is the place to have your wedding or gathering in downtown GR.
J.W. Marriott Hotel - Another stunning venue with rooms upstairs. Guests can be treated to top notch service and food. Guests can relax in the wonderful furniture, or look out the window at the scenery of the Grand River.
Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park - The most beautiful place to have an outdoor wedding close to GR. There are always flowers in bloom, and the waterfall setting makes pictures unforgettable and guests wanting to stay longer.
Henderson Castle, Kalamazoo - Victorian castle that has been turned into a bed and breakfast. Great location for a smaller wedding where you want the whole area to yourself. Walk in wine cellar, and the best view of downtown from the lookout roof are a must!
Downtown Public Library: White Glove Event - We perform many wedding ceremonies, but also perform for cocktail hours, benefits, and special events, such as this one. The Public Library has several rooms that have been remodeled, and look stunning.
